It's a little bit of everything. TT is important. If you can get PIC and lots of TT then maybe you should? Sitting on reserve as PIC not flying does not help your TT?

TT in a regional or Corporate setting is more important than PIC. I got hire at jetblue with 0 pic. I had the opportunity to upgrade at the regional but chose to leave.

Yeah I have. “Expect fall class, possibly summer class”. Completed my drug screen on 1st June this year but have heard nothing from anyone since then.

Anyone have an idea how quickly they’ll get the pillows called back and in classes and open up the hiring window?

i was the last interview day before NY closed down and told to expect a middle of fall class date. I would assume I’m at the end of the poolies they had and maybe the window might open sometime in the near future?

The CP at the management discussion at recurrent said that they are sending interview invites to everyone that had been invited to interview prior to the stoppage (allegedly between 100-200 people according to his count). Seeing that we plan to hire 300 this year and accounting for most of those that were on hold during training being complete, or nearly so, you could approximate off of that. There was no set date to open the window but when you consider how long the hiring process takes I’d have to guess it opens at some point during the summer setting folks up for Fall interviews. I’m also wrong 99% of the time, so take that for what it’s worth.

I was happy with the update emails we got throughout the pandemic and glad to see they are honoring those interview invites still. It’s much easier to just drop everyone like WN did and some other carriers. I thought B6 did a good job through the pandemic
