AA March 17 class is postponed indefinitely, but all members of that class date are AA employees with pay, benefits, and insurance as of midnight tonight.
Amazing gesture and it will buy a lot of loyalty. I don't blame United or JetBlue; business is business. They have their own shareholders and current employees to care for. What American did for those pilots is going above and beyond. Can't expect that anywhere.

I love how all of a sudden AA is now the pinnacle of airline diplomacy because of something they did to a new hire class. One gesture over the course of 20+ years of continually screwing their employees still isn't a great track record.

Having said that, still a scummy move by JB. Should've kept dudes in the loop.

Even after numerous attempts on Friday 13th, No one from JB responded to my requests for information about my class, email or phone. So I’m not sure about anyone else in the March 18th class, but I was never contacted. If I didn’t have friends already at JB that leaked me information, I’d still getting ready to go to school this week.
We called every person on the list. All 23 of them. A couple we had to leave a message because they did not answer. We personally talked to most and them sent an email as well. I don't buy any of this.

If it happened PM me.

Welp, I got the rejection email, stating ALL pilot hiring has stopped.

I will apply again next window.

Just some food for thought. Airlines are asking for 50 billion dollars. More than 9/11. Last thing they want is some local news story about a guy quitting his job for JetBlue and then ending up on the street with no insurance. Paying him for now is no lose situation, in reality the tax payer will you ultimately paying him until the furloughs start.

Did it say TBNT, or was it the letter that went out that stated that your application was still on file and being considered? Also, when did you interview? Feel free to PM me if you don't wanna discuss it on here.

I saw an email that said all hiring has stopped but that interviews were still valid and under consideration. If that’s what you got, that’s not a rejection.
