It's the part after the Fed ride that you need to worry about 190 CA seat is the worst staffed seat in the company. Check the DROs at the end of the month to see how much abuse everyone is getting. Lots are breaking guarantee, which is pretty F-ing busy on reserve.
i was just looking through the system bid stuff, and i saw there is a JFK/E90/CA who is junior to me (i'm an fo). but I've had all upgrades in every system bid. i'm sure there's a logical explanation to that, i just don't know what it is.

How long have you been here? Did you change planes and have an equipment lock while they didn't?

Test, CA is junior to me on the bus. Jeff Sabre is junior to me on the E190. Neither of those are real people I don’t think. Probably place holders in their setting up the bids in flica. I wouldn’t worry about it.
ha, okay...i thought it was kind of suspicious that his name was sabre.

The E190 upgrades number almost the same as the A320 captain upgrades. Which is strange because:
1. The A320 fleet is 3 times bigger.
2. The A320 fleet flies 24 hours a day instead of 16-18, so again should need more pilots to staff.
3. All the deliveries this year are Airbus.
4. Airbus is generally more senior, more vacations to staff for.
Just don't understand how you need an almost equal number of E190 upgrades unless they are JUST NOW starting to beef up staffing on the E190 to prepare to beef up staffing later on the Airbus.

In December 2018, (43) A320 CAs were awarded. Of those, (19) were E190 CA-A320 CA awards, (14) were A320 CA base moves, (15) were A320 FO upgrades. <<(5) were MGMT.>>
That’s 37 E190 CAs who moved over to the A320, creating a need for more E190 CAs. Makes sense to me.
There were zero E190 FOs upgrading to CA on either airframe since last June.
