Speaking of the operation, it’s so incredibly dysfunctional the rudderless ship has become a meme. Shall I continue?

Jetblue is not on par with the majors/legacies and anyone who is happy solely because of their QOL has their head buried so far in the sand is poking out in China. Every one should be concerned about how this airline is/isn’t run. It’s dysfunctional on a clear blue day let alone weather and thought out it all, the only consistency, the only real, intangible idea is CULTURE. Everyday culture.

Jetblue is a cult entwined with a marketing company spiraling downward. But again, If you have some seniority your QOL its fine whilst the building blocks of the airline are crumbling amidst us all.

The mentality of most at this airline is why the airlines is the way it is. Ignorance is bliss does not do this pilot group justice. Truly amazing how indifferent to reality some of you are.

So should you come to jetbkue? This industry will use you and spit you out so you treat each airline the same. Leave your entry level position and take this one. It is a step up but the top or even the middle step it is not. Training is designed to ingrain culture but once you leave the school house reality quickly sets in. It’s often too late at that point.
One hundred percent correct.

I agree, keep working to improve. But keep perspective about where you are.

But also remember that the airlines are very cyclical. Keep fighting for the best because if we don’t always try to get the best what happens at the next downturn.

Yep. Aware, and don't disagree. You can strive for better, and still understand that you're in a good place.

Right there with ya. It’s what I tell everyone I fly with. I will always fight for more and make the company want to give more for the next contract by not helping out but I’m very happy in life. Yes it could be a lot better but I’m happy

We don’t pay for first class. In fact, my CA put a JetBlue guy up there just last week (which is awesome because it’s usually full!).

EDIT: oops - answered a looong time ago! Didn’t see there was another page of posts!

Agree with Rascal. Don’t care either. We do what we do.

Really that’s kinda my point.

You can pick. I’ve got thick skin and the sarcasm runs deep in me.

I went to a yoga class today... never been. Thought it was dumb. Yoga... seriously? 9:15 on a Tuesday. I’m gonna go ahead and go back. Because it’s good to stretch and stuff like that.

Deep thoughts.... and yoga pants.
