I’ll be spending so much time in Kew that my plan is to eat at every single pizza place in NYC while on reserve. In six months I’ll be so large I won’t fit in the 190 and I’ll qualify for disability. I may or may not have hatched this plan while watching an episode of the Simpson’s and chasing cough syrup with scotch. Homer just needed to get to 400 pounds so he could operate the reactor from his house...Can I run the potato farm from the crash pad?

I don't think there will be much Simpson's watching or pizza eating in the crashpad if you're 190-JFK.

I'm currently scheduled for the Nov 7th interview group, but after reading the comments here about 'fessing up every skeleton in the closet, my conscience got the better of me. I had a couple orals, one during my private checkride and another with the airline, where the check airmen said "I think I'm going to stop right here. You're not ready." It was unclear if they were reportable busts, but I decided to send in an amended Flight History today to reflect them. I'm assuming they're going to reply that they're cancelling my interview. Has anybody seen/experienced a situation like this that turned out okay?

I have never heard of your situation, but if I was interviewing you I would be impressed by your honesty. Let me ask you this, were there other failures you already reported to Jetblue? I am assuming you answered this question already for them since you are saying you amended it. Again, I have no idea what they will do in your case. Good luck and hopefully you get a chance to interview!

Honestly, how do you not know? You have access to your PRIA record. It’s irresponsible to not know what is on it and then try to not report possible failures.

Friend of mine forgot ONE speeding ticket for a UA interview, changed his app after the interview invite. They waited until he showed up and then escorted him out of the building for lack of integrity. True story.

You’ll be fine. I had forgotten to disclose something similar from 20yr prior because I had just forgotten it and did the exact same thing prior to my interview. I Made sure to mention it at the interview as well so I didn’t give the impression of hiding anything. Didn’t seem to cause any issues since I’ve been enjoying the “comfort” of the 190 for a couple years now.

They gave a friend of mine a pretty hard time for a pt.121 oral bust, but he/she made it through in the end. I know they really don't like pt.121 training issues, so I guess it just depends on that and how they feel about you reporting it late. The pt.61 failures I think they see as part of the normal learning process.
Good luck to you.

Sounds to me like you didn’t bust..you got a mulligan. Of course I don’t know…I’d consider consulting with one of the interview companys. The extra coin might be worth the peace of mind.

You make a perfectly valid point, and I wish I had an equally valid response, but I think I just kinda buried my head in the sand. I realize it doesn't make very sound career planning. Quite honestly, since I had a "real" bust only a few years ago, I assumed I'd never get called for an interview anyway so it wouldn't be an issue.
