Or MU2 single pilot for 1100 hours at night between Detroit and Cincinnati.

The answer to more pay and better work rules was we have 10,000 applications of guys who would gladly take your place. feel free to go else where.

it'll be interesting to see how many viable apps we get this round... last round was measurably less than 10k.

Might be a little off this time around. With the IT issue that was going on most people resubmitted their apps at least half a dozen times. I don't know if they can separate number of apps to number of applicants..

On another note, how often have they been opening the application window? The website says once a year but I know the window was open back in April as well.

The pendulum has swung. Now every other FO I fly with seems to have zero time in the left seat. Don't get me wrong, I would have jumped given the chance too. But you can tell who the guys are that have put in their time.

It's a good time to be a young pilot.
Legacies are also hiring guys with only SIC time. It's about more than just TT and PIC these days. But you're right demand is high for pilots and it's a good time to be a younger person entering this career.

Anybody know when the next job fair will be with jetBlue? I believe WIA is in March but wasn't sure if there's one sooner.

Two questions:
When the window closes how long until people will start getting calls? Is it worth my time to keep updating even after the window has closed?

What perplexes me is guys are talking about how much experience they had to have in order to get a call and your question is if it’s even worth updating after the window closes? If your part of the entitlement mentality, please don’t apply.

Well see at real airlines you update your times monthly to show you’re still interested, and it also adds points to help get you called. As for BlueJet as far as I remember it doesn’t make any difference. You’ll have access to a short profile you can keep updated with total time if it’s still the same though. Most things at BlueJet are a moving target “ready.. fire.. aim..”
