jetBlue Hiring
There are a lot of people who get the TBNT. What are you saying about them? Personally I worked hard to get to JB and so did a lot/most of the other pilots working here. Your comment is not OK.
Can you read? I said nothing about anyone who gets rejected. I was answering a question.- And why so sensitive? Im allowed to voice my opinion right? - grow up.

"B6 only checks your pulse & zip code these days. Im actually not joking. "
Sorry man that's not true and kind of a low blow. Also disrespectful to our new guys.
Look you can say anything you would like just don't get mad if you get push back. God knows you challenge me and I challenge you on things.
You do know that you are being a little sensitive as well right? I mean you pretty much said JetBlue will hire anyone.

You a defense lawyer in your spare time or do you revel in re-explaining others' positions?
Tell me- was it the "Im actually not joking" that has the 2 of you wound up?
Because obviously, they check more than that.

How times change...
I remember back in 2005 talking to JB with about 3k worth of saab time. I was almost laughed out of the building... "come back when you learned to fly a jet " is what the guy said.
The pendulum has swung. Now every other FO I fly with seems to have zero time in the left seat. Don't get me wrong, I would have jumped given the chance too. But you can tell who the guys are that have put in their time.
It's a good time to be a young pilot.

Your comeback or attack to anyone is to just reverse the original statement. What a complex pattern PP.

Man you have that right.
Simply an amazing time where you can almost pick where you want to go. Good for them.
Plus one more on Emerald Coast. They are a great group and will do an excellent job helping you to get ready. As much as many say it "isn't worth it" to be here, this can, in fact, be the final career stop for many guys. Is it worth not purring your best foot forward for an interview that could result in a multi-million dollar career just because there might be a better job out there..
Another emerald coast endorsement.
If you are like me, you hadn't interviewed for 10 years or more. It is surprising how out of practice you can get. It is a good review for any job, not just JETBLUE, not just Delta. It is valuable.
One of my friends just interviewed at a couple different airlines. When they asked him if he used an interview prep, he smiled and said "no way! I don't want to give you canned answers, I want you to see the real me applying to your company" He said they all smiled at him.
I'd love to know why. Was it "refreshing" or were they amused by his confession that he didn't use all the tools available to him. I really don't know.
I would argue a better answer would be "yes I used an interview prep service. I'm going to use every tool available to prepare myself as the perfect candidate for you to hire. I'm not interested in canned answers, I'm just interested in presenting the most polished version I can be"
Decide for yourself what an interviewer would like to hear. I do think they hate to hear programmed "canned" responses, but you shouldn't be doing that regardless of how you prepped.
YMMV
