Probably. They can't afford to turn away anyone for risk of not being able to staff the planes.

I just saw a list in the BOS crew room, but I didn't honestly look at the date.

I do know that one of them is one of the biggest troublemakers I've ever known, and one was acquitted of murder a Few years back.

Well they're posted for a reason. I'd rather not work alongside a guy who killed someone. So do us all a favor and bring it up to the CP.

Maybe the glove didn't fit.

Now, because you won't tell the CP you will be able to ask him all about the murder on a 4 day trip!

Hmm... initials? Or previous airline if you don't want to be that specific?

One question. Hooker or no hooker? If its a hooker I can still have drinks with the guy.

I guess now the "phase 2" lists won't be displayed up because of some threat of discrimination of those that didn't make it to phase 2 or those that get a thumbs down when someone comes forward to shed light on something in someone's past not known. This according to one of the chiefs. Gotta love it....

Isn't that the point of phase 2? To shed light on something in someone's past not known? In other words, to shed light on something that the person is trying to hide. If it's not a big deal, then the company can hire the pilot. If it is a big deal, then the company can choose not to hire the pilot and avoid potential problems with that person as an employee.

Whatever happened to companies being able to hire quality candidates without fear of lawsuit or litigation? The world is too quick to sue someone or something because they didn't get what they want. It all started with that McDonald's case - turns out coffee really is hot! Ridiculous.

If they're not posting the list, then there's no reason that the hiring process can't be expedited and people given conditional job offers like most other companies. If something comes in a background check that wasn't disclosed pull them out of class on week 1 and bye bye.
