You are right. Until JetBlue offers a competitive CBA, the only reason to come to JetBlue is to escape a dead end regional gig and bide time until one of the Big 3 call. Or, if you're mil, come to get some 121 time on your resume and bail.

Not off topic whatsoever. How long does it take to hold MCO 320? Three and a half years??

And honestly being compensated 35% less than our peers doesn't make up for driving to work.

Do you think we'll continue to be compensated 35% less than our peers when we get our contract?

I get the frustration, but we have some really smart dudes working their butts off to rectify this situation......had we voted ALPA in last time, we'd be working on our 2d contract right now.....but that's a discussion for another thread...

No one is criticising our ALPA volunteers.

They don't ultimately control the time line.

What he said. I don't think that'll be the case, but for someone weighing their options with the facts and circumstances available right now it's a no brainer to take JetBlue off their list of places to apply regardless of where they live.

Hopefully that changes soon. But if I was in the job market I wouldn't count on it.
