Default Vueling FAs?

OK, what's the story?
Does JB really think sending our FAs to Spain and bringing their FAs here is going to improve our product?
Sounds like a huge waste of money, to me.
I'd be interested in hearing some opinions and viewpoints from you guys.
Is Vueling Dave's "hobby airline" or is there something deeper going on?
Of course, my opinion is subject to immediate change if they're all hot babes...

I heard this was happening months ago. Along with this part there was talk of a merger connected by A330's across the atlantic. At the time I discounted the entire story as wild rumor.

I have nothing against wild rumors.

Thumbs up

I prefer to look at this one in the best possible light.

Breathtaking Spanish babes in the short term and a future A330/340 transatlantic link to some European flying in the long term.

Automatique, what was the down side again? Something about money or something? I forget. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, Barcelona....

I apologize in advance to diamonddd for this negative statement, although I'll willing to bet he'll agree.

A.) In light of JB's track record, about 90% of the FAs will be either "alternate lifestyle" males or retired from a previous profession.
B.)The Euro-flying will go to the top 100 seniority numbers OR the "highly-experienced 2000 hour" (and lower-paid) Spanish pilots.

Flame away...

LMAO. No really... in a good way.

Well I don't know about Diamondddd, but I, for one, am in awe of your ability to find the down side of something that hasn't even reached the level of 'rumor' yet! That, sir, is a talent!

And come on, our in-flight are second only to SWA as far as I can tell. Tell me what I'm missing here.

I can't answer now, it's cloudy.
Probably going to rain... Probably, A LOT!
Those dams can't take it, I'll bet they overflow. NO, they'll BREAK!!!
My house will float away! My stuff will be all SOGGY!!!
The signiture on my paycheck will be ALL BLURRY!!!
I'll have to go to "The Mission"! They'll make me sing hymns!!!
And the morning oatmeal will have LUMPS...

I endorse a friend's flight-bag sticker;
"I'm feeling better now that I have given up all hope..."

Seriously, now. What is the purpose of wasting money on a "Cultural Exchange" of FAs? If JB wants better customer service, cease the FA transcons. Those people are not interested in their job after 11 hours in the air. Do you do a "cabin walk" after the cleaning is supposedly done? It looks like a SWA 737 at the end of the day.

Can anyone verify that this is the airline for which Dave Barger is on the board of directors for?

Of course we have some beautiful girls here! But I wouldn't say more than 10%.
We do seem to have a lot more "older People" on their second careers and men of a certain persuasion at JB.
But miracles happen! We had FOUR beautiful FAs for three legs last week!
The F/O and I kept shaking our heads in amazement!
