lol the traveling public is stupid, that's why they ask "are you a pilot"?
Oh wait, "Are you a pilot, or a Co-pilot?".
I'm a "First Officer".
"Oh so when are you going to be a pilot?".
Anyway so you honestly think they care about your culture? You're a glorified bus driver to them. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.

If it's the same kind of coat I think it is, it will take 2 seconds to remove the epaulettes (requires velcro epaulettes to do it) and then the name patch (if we have one) and it looks like every other generic shell. Easy peasy. Stick em in the (ample) pockets and you're good to go.

Don't know - not familiar. But I know the UAX regionals and I think NK had them. What I'm thinking of is a shell made by a company called Karbon. Looks like a North Face with a higher collar and more pockets. Very tasteful, quality jacket. I still have one and I'm hoping we adopt it.
They also make a nice quilted liner than doubles as a separate jacket on an overnight.

We have the Karbon at Spirit and most pilots have migrated to it. I bought it with company reimbursment but also still sometimes wear my trusty old Perrone leather from my regional days.
It's a nice and functional jacket. But the sizing is funky, so do not order the combo (shell and liner). Since you guys have a uniform sweater I'd say just get the shell. It runs big; I'm a size M in real life but wear a S Karbon.
Here's what it looks like: Southwest Airlines – Karbon2
Personally I think jetBlue should just reinstate the leather.
