correct…I said that backwards. 4 hours late because my airplane was stolen for another inop airplane and on the parking van doing a JFK turn will do those things to you. (why have one flight late that’s 1/2 full when you can have two and 50 misconnects in your main hub)

Obviously if there are 80+ CA vacancies on the annual, that doesn't mean the same CAs that lose their seat will necessarily get a CA seat back though. Some of the bottom E190 drivers won't have the juice to hold seats on more desirable frames, and I don't think their displacement rights will fix that. Correct?

The results from this bid are going to look bad on paper for a few weeks. Lots of backward movement and seat losses. However, a good majority of it will be mitigated a couple weeks later during the system bid. All of it? No, but a lot of it. We are net positive airframes in 2025 not to mention the extension of the old birds.
There will still be some very junior captains that get kicked back to the left seat, but let's be honest, if the 190 wasn't going away those pilots would have never been able to hold that seat anyway. It was a temporary gig and they should have known that going into it.
The next two bids will just normalize the left seat seniority back to a historic percentage on the list.

Ironically, if there is a large amount of voluntary displacements those super junior E190 CAs will be spared and the majority of CA displacements will come off the other fleets. Those E190 CAs currently in the top 25-50 % will take the biggest relative seniority hit if they stay so may just elect to bid off via voluntary displacement. Displaced 220/320 CAs can of course bid 190CA and push the junior guys E190 guys out as a result, but many may not given the future of the 190.
