But this is JB, so they will probably do exactly that. (Sarcasm, I hope).

Those summer slots at AMS are now, and will likely forever forward be UNOBTAINIUM. We fought like hell to get them. AMS is a top destination from NYC/BOS, and DL/KLM hold 100% of BOS (and I think also NYC) traffic, and ~88% of all US-AMS traffic. They would be absolutely CRAZY to simply give back the summer AMS historical rights.
But this is JB, so they will probably do exactly that. (Sarcasm, I hope).

JetBlue is a growth airline that can’t shrink fast enough. Highly doubt those orders are JetBlue. Because that would require forward thinking and we just don’t have that here.

To my knowledge no company has yet claimed that order, and there are only so many reasons to conceal it.
JG said in her recent email that not growing is hurting our finances. I'm as bummed as anyone that we deferred orders, again. It's a recurring theme around here year after year. But if we don't place an order with Airbus now, actually well before now, when our current order book runs out we stop growing entirely. The backlog of Airbus deliveries is already years out, give or take around the same time our current order book runs out. We either placed that order or we will be in deep crap.
I'm still fairly sure it's ours, but I was wrong that one time before.

Trying to read tea leaves like everyone else, but in that email, paragraph 8, she mentioned that they were finalizing some long-term items and would be rolling out information to us - the employee group - this summer, well before investor day. That seems to dovetail with what you're talking about. May be completely wrong, too, but it aligns logically.
Thats Fair from both Blue DRIVER and you.
