Did we ever really want LGW? I thought it was there until we got Heathrow. So I can definitely see a change there but not AMS. However who knows these days.

It feels like B6 is just a couple steps behind NK.
This wouldn’t surprise me.

The AMS part is the surprising one for me. We put up such a stink and fought for the slot.

At that point we serve LHR and CDG along with some seasonal cities. What’s the point? Might as well cut the whole TATL SQ program

AMS is a money maker and the loads are generally good. Gatwick is decent too especially in the summer. I don't believe this for a second.Marty St. George was just in Barcelona scoping out new destinations, we've got LR and XLRs on order, and the last earning call was pretty clear that the Transatlantic flights were making the company money.

They never claimed they were consistently profitable. They said they are scaling at the rate a new market should.

Yeah and JW said we’re going to get widebodies if the NK merger didn’t go through so I wouldn’t believe anything anyone says until it shows up in our bid pack

I completely agree. It seems messaging from the new leadership team is a route or city pair has to earn its place in the network. If a city isn’t going to be consistently profitable I could see it being cut.

maybe we should give it a little more than 6 months for a route to prove itself. Just a thought.

they do the same thing every time they get in trouble. Retreat to the bases and cut Orlando and LA.
