Can we for once get some good news? I mean honestly, I hate to be doom and gloom but it seems like we just keep getting kicked while down. This news now of Icahn? I don't want to give up all my seniority and start over again, but seniority doesn't mean squat if the airline you work for no longer exists.

I really would not get all worked up about that guy after all he only owns 9.9% of Jetblue now… that’s not even a majority of the shares or anything even close to it.
If he does get a seat at the board, it’s only one seat.
I think there will be great things ahead for Jetblue.

He got to 10% ownership in 2 weeks. This could just be the start.

The ironic part of all this is that by stopping the merger of 2 into 1, that judge may have destroyed all of our careers and both airlines (Yes, being a bit dramatic). The idiocy of that ruling now has Spirit in rough shape, and a known destoyer of airlines trying to get on the JB board. Great job judge.
