I'm out with a loss. Under normal circumstances I would never by an airline stock. This was a gamble.

Same, that hurt.

They could appeal, but will they even bother?

I skimmed the ruling, mentioned Spirits business model quite a bit. Which could change tomorrow... Very disappointed in the judge on this one. Spirit may not even be a ULCC in the near future.

Maybe this turns into a blessing; wait for new DOJ = JetBlue + Alaska + Hawaiian.

Or maybe JetBlue searches for a new Airbus dance partner, one that also has a Vacation infrastructure, Allegiant??

Pros and cons to the merger. Long term, I think it’s better to have organic growth and not deal with SLI BS for the next 20-30 years and having to deal with all the integration issues. Short term, I hope everyone can avoid bankruptcy. Buckle up boys and girls!!!

Enjoy the DTZ! It’s been real with the back and forths. Hopefully we can each get better independent CBAs now with a little more enlightenment on what’s out there.
