Yep, the CEO is out (I personally think it's healthy reasons) and BofA has a harsh downgrade simultaneously.
The SAVE stock is a powderkeg ready to blow in either direction. Not surprised it could get spooked down.
But reality is it's likely no one knows the judges decision. So the stock movement being tied to the actual fate of the merger is unlikely.

Oh please, tell me more! I just can't WAIT to get balls deep in this JCBA/SLI so I can learn SO MUCH from you cosmopolitan JetBlue pilots! Maybe one of you can help me bandage my knuckles too, seeing as to how they've been dragging on the ground for so long?
News flash skippy: while a portion of your pilot group was riding the coattails of all of us unionized carriers for years, a portion of our group was participating in a lawful strike to better ourselves and the industry as a whole. Right after you ask me about my "ask me about my 4 days off" sticker, maybe you'll ask me about that star on my pin.
Stay in your lane and knock it off with the name calling and generalizations or you'll play right into your (and probably our future) management's hands.

JB’s pre-union PEAs and comp packages were never that far out of line with industry standard. As soon as that changed, we voted in ALPA and got it back in line with our (non-ULCC) peer group.
So let’s chill with the whole “500 guys went on strike in the 2000s” nonsense, and keep things in perspective here. Spirit pilots haven’t exactly held the line on industry standard compensation in over a decade.

A tiny percentage of your pilots— working for a company unrecognizable to the one you currently work for—voted to strike eons ago. In the years that followed, however, your group undercut nearly every single other ALPA carrier on every CBA, benefiting from rapid seniority growth as a result.

I agree, we all have a problem with the younger generation of pilots who do not have the same outlook as I do. My experience has given me my perspective. Not everything is rainbows and unicorns. Spirit is a majority "rainbows" group, and JetBlue is an all "unicorns" group.
I am not asking for your gratitude for what we did in 2010, but I do not think you are not acknowledging what we can bring to the table. I do think you are being shortsighted in ignoring the resolve of the 300ish pilots that are still on property at Spirit who had a 100% participation in that strike. There is nobody at JetBlue that has that star.
It literally was a "leave it all on the table" action. And it was an action we took as a group, for the group. Because in the end, if we failed we were all out on our collective butts in an era where nobody was hiring. Our families future was riding on a successful outcome.
We can debate the definition of success any way you want. I personally think we left money on the table in 2010, and every vote since. But when the going gets tough...and it will get tough when management (lawyer CEO) starts playing games....you will want us on your side!
