1. No, and No. I ve only seen the recaps by this Points Guy whose paraphrasing. I can only assume most are getting their information from similar sources. I'm just puzzled how different the reaction is.
2. I don't other than......they are mor experienced than me in cases that historically that bear resemblance. I'm only paying attention cause I work or used to work at one of the carriers.

Yes this is what makes no sense to me either. In previous posts there were "Analysts" citing that very same logic.....talk about being Vague.

I think way too many pilots are getting worried about the stock price.

If the merger is approved, it will go up drastically

If it’s not approved, it will sink and possible Chapter 11 soon after.

So being that we know this current price is insignificant unless you’re day trading, why does it matter?

Anybody catch Robin’s closing shot at us at the end of the pocket session?

“costs, costs,….yada, yada…people have seen how other airlines like UPS/FedEx is trying reduce costs by reducing pilots, we are proud of our no furlough commitment, but we need to make money and do what we have to do”

P.S spare me the usual pocket session BS…I was sitting in hwy traffic and had nothing better to listen to.

I'd be worried if we lost Robin. Many don't like him, but can't explane why. Just the other day I heard one of our pilots say he'd rather have Neilman back at the helm. I argued if Neilman never left we wouldn't have Mint, we wouldn't be in Europe, and we be struggling with a similar model to Spirit.

Also wouldn’t have current pay.

Yup, Im a big fan of Robin. I hope if JetBlue ever "trims the fat" that robin still remains, I think he is the right person for the future.

Stock Price has nothing to do with CH 11; balance sheet and ability to pay debt. In fact if you look at macroaxis probability of bankruptcy, although JetBlue and Spirit has a higher probability than some, they both have a lower probability than United at the moment. For what its worth?

Exactly.

And for some that are new to the game, here is some sad truth for this industry; airlines have and will file bankruptcy. It’s the industry. And I’ll add, Chapter 11 is much better than continuing to **** through money to the point you close the doors.

NK probably files Ch11 first half of 2024 if this merger gets shot down. JBLU, who knows, maybe Robin gets shown the door and a new CEO has to make decisions if the merger fails.

But this ridiculous “the stock is at…” every day doesn’t matter. Come wake me when it’s a penny and it’s on the verge of being delisted.

The merger and the judge, that’s all that matters. I’m glad to see more JBLU guys for this merger as we are all realizing we need to grow to compete. This is the way
