Yes I do, when all the “toots” go to the country club owned by the guy trying to make this merger happen, it seems pretty obvious to me. You sound confident it will swing the other way. If this doesn’t reek of desperation on JetBlue’s part I don’t know what does. Speaking of desperate that statement from your fearless leader was just that.

Yup, the announcement was fairly predictable to be announced on THIS date by 1) A black hole of silence from the ELT preceded by 2) A note expressing continued pursuit of NK, and 3) A quick read of “tender offers”. They were just waiting for the NK/F9 proxy vote date to be published (which was announced last Weds for June 10th), they needed to know that date to back up the minimum required 20 business days resulting in…. Drumroll…..16 May. Today was THE day to pull the trigger to allow the minimum amount of time for NK to mount their defense and still be legal with the SEC.
Predictions are easier if you know what to look for and keep emotions out of it!
