Of course it's both.

Seems the commonly held opinion is that preventing the Spirit and Frontier merger is illegitimate or somehow underhanded or sneaky.
No, no it's not. What it IS is an obvious and legitimate strategy for the future of JetBlue.
Frontier, Spirit and JetBlue each separately need a way to vault forward to greater economies of scale, and each of them see a merger or acquisition as the quickest route forward. They're all right.

Stay tuned I guess
I've provided logic backed up with facts, you have provided insults and conspiracy theories. Your scenario is possible, but not probable. Either way, the deal is dead. The only way it happens is with a hostile takeover.
So then, it's actually not yet dead?

You provided no actual logic, and zero actual facts. You provided a lot of naivete however.

I’m sure he invests with those firms who loudly proclaim that they’re fiduciaries on tv.

Crime of any sort must also be perplexing given the excess of laws and agencies to enforce them.

I assume you're referring to both F9's and B6's bids for NK being dead.
With the slide in F9's stock price, NK shareholders are likely to reject F9's their takeover offer.

This is starting to look like a huge waste of time and money for all three airlines.

All you said was the deal is dead. It's not dead, so clearly you haven't provided anyone with any facts. Just your opinion based on bias. The only intelligent thing you said in all your posts was the last sentence in this post. The shareholders will have the last word in this.

Ha. Just read this after my post. At least I'm not the only one with the opinion of this guy.

So does anyone actually know if/when the shareholders get involved in this? I’m not expecting any change on that front, but JB buying a majority of shares is a real possibility I suppose. RH seems pot committed to this acquisition.

You think Robin/JetBlue are committed to buying Spirit still? They’ve been silent since Spirit said they’re going with Frontier. I have a feeling they’ll maintain that silence all the way until NK/F9 is official. There’s nothing to gain by him saying, oh darn we let Spirit slip away.

Based on his last communication with us after Spirit rejected the offer? Yes, he seems committed. He talked about going directly to the shareholders. Said they’re going to look at all their options.
