Maybe drop it $1 a day until they accept the offer. Could go a few weeks and STILL be a better/superior deal than the one they have with Frontier.

Maybe you guys didn’t see that they turned down the offer because they don’t believe it will get regulatory approval. Had nothing to do with finances.

And maybe you didn't "see" Russia invaded Ukraine to denazify them. Had nothing to do with expanding regional influence and rebuilding the old Soviet Union. I mean you believe everything you read, even when the truth is right in front of you, right?

Spirit’s CEO is ridiculing JetBlue’s offer in their quarterly earnings call. Maybe JB decides to play mean with Spirit, who knows, but it seems pretty clear that this deal won’t be proceeding with cooperation from Spirit’s leadership.

He made a good point. Why would the DOJ approve a merger that eliminates competition, when JBlu is already being sued by the DOJ due to lack of competition because of the NEA?

I honestly can’t believe JetBlue thought they were gonna get both the NEA and Spirit. One or the other is reasonable…not both. I can’t see this thing with Spirit going any further at this point.

Wouldn’t NK and F9 eliminate competition?

Against each other, but it strengthens the ULCC model vs legacies. Jet Blue has the NEA with a legacy and if you look at the PDF on the Spirit inventor relations, they show what the average fair Jet Blue charges vs F9/NK.

How long has it been since the DOJ blocked a merger of major airlines?
