Geez I thought we were the whole culture koolaid people. Looks like some take koolaid by the gallons at NK. They’re really all in on the whole ULCC is the only thing that works in the industry idea. Some super happy like JetBlue can’t survive without Spirit and we will all be without a job soon. I guess JetBlue wasn’t making money before.

Also don’t know if there was any JB pilot saying a NK pilot was going to swing their gear, on the contrary I’m pretty sure we were only saying how we would get screwed on the SLI. Hey some are gonna excuse their arrogance any way possible.

Doubt it’s over, but if it is best of luck with F9. I guess I’ll be celebrating with y’all when you get that super contract you hardcore big balls group keep bragging about. It’ll be good for all the industry when you do, maybe you’ll stop bleeding pilots then. Maybe the dying JetBlue will ensue, if we are lucky enough. Unfortunately for us pilots NK didn’t take our companies offer. Guess I’ll just wait for the impending death.

You sure will dominate that ULCC market though. Go get em Tiger.
Your 190 pay rates when I went to f9 in 2006 were close to xjt rj rates with a 2 year seat lock. I’d be willing to bet I made more $ at f9 than I would have going to jb the same year. Envision a mainline pilot making 60-70k as a captain in 2006. Our bankruptcy contract paid more.

So over the a 16 year career at either company I made more $ at f9 than I could have at jb. The entire point. Earnings and days off. By the way I got 225k in equity while you got close to zero in profit sharing over the same period. I wouldn’t have even mentioned it had a jb guy not buried his head in sand and implied it’s always been better there.

I see the problem he was talking about “now” not then and how then has become now and where we will be soon. (Not a direct move quote but close)

But again the point was it’s 2022 how come y’all let B6 get past you contract wise if you had us beat in 2006?

Bully for you I’m glad it all worked out.
I will say respectfully y’all seem very sensitive over there.

bankruptcy tends to do that (you get passed contractually) and mistakes were made but the equity actually panned out which I was shocked by. Good luck to all pilots involved in this.
