Yes, you do when you call into Scheduling and say your available, all be it an hour late. Scheduling agreed, he got it on tape and called when his pay report didn't reflect it. He contacted his chief pilot who told him since he was on probation he would have the possibility of the company opening up an article 19(I think)...termination because he missed getting to work on time. He actually made it to ORD on his 3rd friggin try!!
I told him his chief is a POS and file a grievance, he told me he had an interview with Delta on Thursday......checkmate. This is the $hit we are looking at dealing with.

Especially with an ever increasing pilot shortage and a management team that can’t seem get out of their own way. I’ve got a lot riding on this, so obviously hoping for the best.
You are correct. They are a hybrid. Hybrids don't survive long term in this industry.

Its just a vocal minority of senior captains with Stockholm syndrome who are worried about losing 2% seniority or guys who want one of frontiers bases.

Personally, I'm dusting off my logbook and list of previous employers.

One look at frontiers forum tells me everything I need to know about working for their management.

Only today.
See Spirit guys earned more than B6 pilots after the previous contract they negotiated during a recession with Indigo. UsAir pilots also.
Maybe your new to the industry but there's quite a few carriers that earned more than B6 pilots for years.

Yea it’s my second day. What are you babbling about here? I make more than you today, and I will make more than you tomorrow. As a matter of fact, it’s hard to envision a scenario where you’ll ever have a better contract than a B6 pilot. Not sure where the disconnect is, but you brought it up. You sure will dominate that ULCC market though. Go get em Tiger.
