Thanks for the answers. Did 15 years on the east coast, now leaning west coast, and with how senior LAX is, this is not what I would have picked. I am sure all at JB would rather have own growth than a merger too. Think F9 will be the laughing third wheel, not having to deal with a merger, and no more ULCC competition.

I think there’s a lot more pax crossover and competition within the legacy and LCC worlds and ULCC worlds than is given credit. I think a B6/NK tie up will make it a lot harder for f9 in a lot of markets. Especially with their 0.6 avg daily frequency or whatever it is, and dartboard method of developing their route network. Throw in allegiant, breeze, avelo, and I don’t think frontier will quite have free reign to grow as fast as they want. Jetblue/NK will keep a lot of NK customers. As much as I think the SLI and overall integration of the airlines would be a mess for 3-5 years, I think the resulting airline and network would be a solid large airline, with solid growth prospects, both domestically and internationally.

Wow the last 4 pages has almost as much d*ck measuring than an all men’s recreational softball team.

Hey who do you guys think has hotter flight attendants, Spirit or JetBlue?
