It’s a great post.

You will find that yes we have our union spats but the majority of guys are great and if they are mad they are mad at MANAGEMENT and what they have done to a company many loved and were proud to work at. That is the bulk of the “anger” (that’s where I am)

But let’s make this easy.

An anonymous web board is not real life

I expect jetblue pilots to fight hard for what’s best form them in the SLI

I expect Spirit pilots to fight for what is best for them in a SLI

Once it’s done I expect the new group of pilots to fight for what is best for us.

I think we could make for a really great airline and if it does not happen so be it.

Okay, guess it is time to stop female-dogging (at least until we know what is going to happen) I guess. The unhappy pilot reference is on APC, and there's plenty of unhappy NK on here, but in the cockpit we are mostly pretty happy.

Q:
Are the pay scales on APC correct?
How many A220 on the property?
What bases have what airplanes?
What is the delivery rate for the A220?
Are all A320 pilots ETOPS?
What percentage of pilots get reserve (NK=30%)?
How many get long call?
Anybody willing to pm me a copy of the CBA?
Don't mind the blue collar.

Only JFK and BOS have sub base ETOPS qual’s for now (well BOS soon).

E190 in JFK BOS MCO. All will be gone by Q1 26. Divestiture schedule is 10 next year, at least 20 in 2024, bulk of the rest in 25, and last few lease returns in Q1 2026.

320 JFK BOS FLL MCO LAX and EWR beginning In June.

220 in BOS only. JFK FLL next allegedly.

Q:
Are the pay scales on APC correct? Yes, however as of May 1st, all rates will increase 3% per LOA 17.
How many A220 on the property? Nine I believe
What bases have what airplanes? A320/321 in BOS, JFK, FLL, MCO, LAX. A220 in BOS. E190 in BOS, JFK, MCO (probably going away soon.)
What is the delivery rate for the A220? 90 total on order, deliveries really ramp up in 2023-2025.
Are all A320 pilots ETOPS? No. It's a "special qualification" and a separate bid within JFK and BOS.
What percentage of pilots get reserve (NK=30%)? 18% in JFK CA/FO 320 for May. About 20% is average.
How many get long call? There is a CBA minimum. In May, 26/104 had to be LCR. It can be more than that.
Anybody willing to pm me a copy of the CBA? Somewhere floating around there is a great B6 contract comparison guide that would be very helpful if you can find it.
Don't mind the blue collar. Wearing it is fine, it's the lack of options buying them that sucks,
In RED above.

I honestly don't go into the Spirit section of APC but I would imagine it is the same toxic crap as we have here. Again, haven't come across a B6 pilot on the line anywhere as unhappy as those on here.
I've non-revved on spirit twice now and I was very impressed with the crews. Very friendly, seemingly happy folks. The pilots I interacted with were great... on both flights, the captain ensured me that they would not leave me behind, even when one gate agent was having issues with CASS. Treated me like one of their own, as we all should.
Airplanes were newer, very clean.
My only complaints:
Both flights were delayed. One was due to gate agent computer system being down. Other was small mx delay, then no open gate on arrival after midnight. Not throwing stones here, B6 doesn't exactly have the best track record as of late.
Seats didn't recline... that may be standard across the fleet?
There is definitely something to be said for the low-fare passengers. The delays didn't help, but some of them got a bit loud and obnoxious.

A220 #9 is delivered, not sure if it is line flying yet. Plan is to have 20 by the end of the year and 100 total after all deliveries, as of now.
Pay scale seems correct, although rounded up. All scales will be going up 3% effective May 1.
Only BOS has A220s right now.

All -300s. They don’t want -100s but have options on a few to convert to -100s. But all -300s as of now.
