I’m guessing 75% weight for status and category and 25% for longevity…

You do know there are more airbus at jetblue then Spirit right? So how does having 60 190s in addition to more 320s than Spirit impact jetblue negatively again? Good lord.

what he’s trying to say is that the 190 captains in a theoretical isl could possibly be slotted below all Airbus captains from both airlines because they fly a smaller, less paying aircraft. Ie, the pinacolaba merger, where the rj900 captains at the top, q400 hundred, rj2, sf34 even though some of those rj2 captains had much more seniority based on doh.

The isl is so far down the road if this even happens that it’s not worth even trying to contemplate a theoretical outcome. You will end up in the loony bin speculating on stuff that you mostly have no control over.

So jetblue pilots would loose seniority to pilots on their own list. Double good lord! What a moron

Don’t forget- no one can leapfrog anyone on their own list. Also, the position you hold doesn’t mean it’s the position you’re considered holding in an ISL. If a jetblue pilot is top 500 on the list and a 190 FO, they will be integrated as if they were an Airbus captain.

I think the arbitrator creates a virtual list for each airline assuming each pilot had bid for the highest paying position they can hold and then slots in pilots from each list accordingly. Your actual position doesn’t matter. There’s plenty of info on this site from previous mergers, if you search “stovepipe” etc.

By the time we get to the isl procedure almost all the 190 will be off property.
