An economic downturn on the horizon, massive integration costs, a bloated offer... It's clear why JetBlue wants Spirit, it's to stop a frontier merger.
I fully expect the work groups to get screwed when they decide to use spirit as a fleet replacement, rather than growth.
I don't get how anyone at any of the 3 airlines involved can support a NK B6 merger.
