Also, the DOJ sees it as a de facto merger between JB and AA in NY and BOS, so they’re skirting all the regulatory review that would normally be required.

Default Travel benefits

With the B6 acquisition of NK looking more likely every day I’m curious what the B6 travel benefits are. Do you have reciprocal agreements with any of the legacy carriers? How good are your international agreements?

We get the standard ZED fares that everyone gets, plus a discounted ZED on AA thanks to the NEA. We get 4 "super passes" a year that put you essentially at the top of the standby list on jetblue. These expire after 2 years, so you can have up to 8 at a time. Standby priority is otherwise based on who checked in first. (No seniority invovled). We can also purchase revenue tickets for 25% off on jetblue.

Standby travel is one area where B6 really shines. We don't oversell, so there is usually room for a few on most flights, and the product blows the doors off everyone else (when we aren't late.)

In addition to the last response we also have a few business class ZED agreements, off the top of my head United, LOT Polish (really cheap), TAP, Aeromexico, La Compagnie, and American (very cheap through our special arrangement).

So, it seems that after the NEA, American flights (which are constantly oversold or canceling) are rolling over to the identical rout on JB. Is this correct? Two times in the past few months I've been watching this for buddy pass purposes and the flights were close to empty at the beginning of the day (which normally means on JB that there is a 100% chance ur getting on unless JB flights cancel, which they didn't ) and then the flights were full.

Anyone know what the official deal is on this?

Business class agreements are an upgrade over NK agreements. We have no business class ZED’s.
And you do have United ZED business class access? Can someone independently confirm this?

yep…oversold AAs have been rebooked on our aircraft quite a bit lately. I can count on one hand over years that I’ve ever seen an oversold flight on us, seem to see them weekly now.

Yes, JetBlue can list for United business class with ZED.
