OK, you guys don’t seem to grasp the fact that all the DATA being used to quantify JetBlue as disruptive is from 10 years ago. Every bit of it. Back when B6 was indeed a low cost airline.
Now JetBlue is pricing tickets at or ABOVE legacy fares. Don’t believe me do a google airfare search on nonstop city pairs.
How can you be bringing prices down when your prices exceed that of the carriers you are supposedly keeping in check?
Either way, call it what you want. I’m just glad Spirit won’t be subject to your delusional CEO.

Well I voted “no” on the merger and just “tendered” all my shares to b6. We’ll see what happens lol

JetBlue will consider the purchase of wide-body jets if its service to Europe is successful. We have heard the talks about JetBlue starting service to Europe for a while. Now, it appears that the airline's plans will finally become a reality. And not just that, the airline might even take it a step further.

The load factor on the London flying is sitting around 65%. Compare that to the legacies which almost always go out over sold, and make money on the cargo. I wouldn't worry about wide bodies. This is what happens when you enter a new market with a superior product and don't advertise.

Don't let pesky facts get in the way of a good narrative.

However I agree I don’t understand this obsession with large planes. Get the more 321s and open a few more European city’s after that look at large planes. If ever. I’m not even sure I see the point of them if the 321 does fine.

Bet we could do better on our load factors, not just to Europe, better everywhere if we could just run the operation. I’m sorry but it’s getting to the point that people flying us fully know they will be late, possibly next day service in some cases, when the operation falls apart over a rain shower over Kennedy.
I waited an hour, and left 1:45 min late, waiting for fuel at T5 two days ago. It was raining, not storming, raining, and that was ops excuse for our “business partner” getting us fuel..
I’ve been asked countless times when I’m seen in public in the uniform, even stopping for coffee on my way to the airport, “what happened to Jetblue?”
