That’s not surprising to me at all. I’d highly expect him to not mention anything about pay. Like many guys in these chats that get upset about negotiating in public, and rightly so, that would be equivalent of him doing the same. He’s gonna keep anything CBA related close to the chest. Both F9 and NK are tough partners when it comes to the negotiating. No secret there. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don’t..
and thankfully all this is now in the hands of the shareholders. The owners of the company will decide which way they wanna go .. not the BOD, not the CEOs, not the lawyers. The voters will decide

But you don’t have a issue with spirit using numbers that have 0 increase in team member costs? That’s interesting accounting.

You've misunderstood the thrust of my comment. B6 employees, have erroneously stated that B6 has long coveted NK. This is false. They only pounced when they realized it would be a competitive threat. The tales we tell ourselves to suit the narrative we are most comfortable with is ingrained in the human psyche.

He may be right in some ways. I don't think Alaska really wanted Virgin. They saw us as a competitive threat, maybe even a dire one, and realized that they must stop us. Jetblue made an offer and Virgin did what it was obligated to do and opened the negotiations to other airlines. A bidding war ensued.
There is nothing wrong with that by the way. It is a fiduciary responsibility of Jetblue, as it was with Alaska to keep the company healthy.
There is no bidding war here. I bought a few thousand shares of Spirit in the middle of this knowing there would have to be some back and forth between Jetblue and Frontier either raising the price or closing at $33. The fact that there is no bidding war is crazy and against all shareholder wealth creation. They have no crystal ball and can't just assume that this will not pass regulatory scrutiny. It certainly appears to be an insider scam.
The fact that the Spirit board has not even tried to renegotiate with Frontier is where seemingly obvious Shenanigans are taking place. If Jetblue is summarily dismissed without a higher offer from Frontier then the board will be sued by some shareholders and the board will lose.

Spirit said that if investors vote against the Frontier offer, they still won’t accept JB’s offer.

Has anyone actually gotten any guidance from their broker about tendering your shares to B6? I have E*trade and I can’t wait to tender my shares but I haven’t seen anything yet. Robin can have my 1000 plus shares.

Ted, wants shareholders to believe that less money equals more money. Good luck to him as he also doesn’t believe they labor costs are going to increase in the next 5 years. This is all a little unbelievable.
