Doesn’t 12 = 8 at BlueJet.

IOW, 4 will leave class for an OAL

Do you have a source that supports your assertion that 1/3 of new hires go to another airline or are you just making up numbers to fit your narrative?

Since you're asking, I'll bet you know the answer. But for those who can't see the data:

184 hired and still on property
28 resignations (a few new hires, some older leaving, think I saw between 16-20 new hires gone, but can't find it now)
7 retired
1 terminated
1 death

Nowhere near 33%

Also, projecting 35-40 for June 6th class. (On track to hit the JB goal of 405, but I have my doubts about this 500 rumored thing, if it is more than a rumor here on APC and BP).

Do you have a source that supports the assertion that 5 + 3 = 13? Or were those numbers just made up to fit a narrative?

Either you don’t work here or haven’t worked here that long to understand bluemath.

If you don’t understand that 5 + 3 is indeed 13 then you don’t understand the joke that it takes 12 to equal 8.

400-450 is what we are on pace for currently.

Unless... They run smaller classes for the summer, which they usually do, and this MAY class looks to be the beginning already.

There is GOOD reason to be skeptical about BlueJet's big hiring rumors. History.

Just like UAL, DAL and FedEx! Not. Apparently not everyone LOVES it as much as you?

Don't get me wrong, for everyone's sake I hope they hire "as advertised".

But talking about 500+ or 580 for next year while running a class of 12 in May...

I agree. I can’t see how this airline COULD ever pump more than 400 thru the schoolhouse in a single year.

There just isn’t enough sim time for the 190 available.

Yes, you could use sim time elsewhere, but there aren’t any hints that they are going to do that.

Can't use sim time elsewhere, no Dual HUD sims. No other company was "wise" enough to install Dual Huds on an E180.
