Maybe you should actually go to a union meeting. These numbers were discussed at the last LEC meeting I went to.
JetBlue fires more pilots than those airlines COMBINED, not percentage-wise but actual total numbers of pilots fired.
As I recall, the other airlines were in single digit numbers of pilots fired each. I'm not sure why you're defending JB when you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Perhaps that gives people a false sense of security.

Speaking of frames delivered, they have announced adjusted ASMs for 2019 and 2020 (down) to 4.5-6.5% saying in part it's due to Airbus NEO delays. Yet, JB is supposed to be taking all it's deliveries next year PLUS the missing deliveries from this year. Something doesn't add up.
Also, I believe the capex for this year was reaffirmed the same as previous guidance from before "knowing" of the Airbus NEO delay. How can capex be the same as previously guided, when they didn't previously know of the NEO delays... Again, something doesn't add up. And no spike in projected capex for 2020, despite supposedly taking the missing deliveries from this year. Again, something doesn't add up.

Good to know they don't just think the pilots are stupid, but investors are as well.
