I was wondering if I had any chances with no CR failure and 2000 total 500 sic 121 currently at a regional
First applied with around 3500 total, 2500 SIC. Finally interviewed 6 years later with around 6000 total, 500 Turbine PIC. Then waited 7 months for a class date. The Big 4 weren't hiring much during those 6 years.

I'm going go out on a limb here and say they are probably asking for a more recent experience.

As for "why?", I would presume to let the dust settle and numbers to arrange themselves after the displacement bid that just occurred, in addition to the fact that the A220 has an IOE wait time of around 1 to 1.5 months (and growing). Summer is historically not the best for hiring, most airlines slow hiring around this time every year. With hiring being slow at the big 3, attrition here is also slow, and we're really only hiring for attrition. Things will pick back up in the Fall.
Thanks for the reply, appreciate the insight. Any info on seniority in bases? Hoping for FLL sooner than later but it seems like is a stretch. Seems like most new hires are getting JKF or BOS out of class.

Had similars hours to you, 1,600 TT with 600 of those being 121 at a regional, have a degree in aviation with the R-ATP which I'm not sure if that helped or not. No failures at all which they seemed to be big on. I was also watching the application windown like a hawk so I was able to throw my hat in there as soon as it open so not sure. I read somewhere in the forum that classes are set for the rest of the year so it seems like a timing situation.

I have a cjo from Feb. 2400TT 10 year military guy, heavy background so almost all of my time is multi. 1100 PIC, mostly in BE40. Unrestricted ATP in hand.

It's completely dependant on what the company needs when your class goes through. Each class is different, in the past 3-4 months I've seen every base on every aircraft get assigned to new-hires (minus SQ, haven't seen that in a new hire class for a bit).

You're right that in recent classes the majority go to BOS and JFK, but don't rule other domiciles out completely. The long and short of it is: you might end up with what you want, just don't count on it.

thanks for replying! If you don’t mind me asking when did you apply and when did you get the Cjo?

Interesting. I also applied in Jan, interview Feb and CJO came the next day or "phase 2" as B6 calls it. Once I completed the fingerprint and background stuff I had a class date offer the first of March.
