planes aren’t going to be completely gone until 2026. That means they will have to continue to replace everyone transferring to the bus for at least another two years.

Current plan is the last 190 will be gone in May 2025. 12 owned ones are parked in the desert as of now with 9 more this year (last I saw). Lease return schedule goes through 2026, but they are parking the last 8 of the leased ones (before they are due) in May of 2025 because they don’t want to deal with a small fleet and will just eat the last lease payments. Subject to change of course. JFK 190 closing in 2024. I had heard it’d be January 2024, coinciding with 220 JFK opening at the same time, but also heard it’s going to be pushed to later in 2024 due to 220 delays. -sources for those rumors are pretty solid
