Speaking of reserve, looks like some of the A220 new-hires might never see reserve, holding lines in April. Kinda good to see.

Only 2 GNE’s and we can lose our cert to operate NAT/HLA….I hope JBU has thought through the potential of Sq 2000hr new hires with little to no PIC or leadership or 121, because here we are. The repercussions are huge

Pilots with very little time and experience fly over the Atlantic literally everyday for other international carriers. United has the Aviate program and have been hiring newbies to the 777 and 787. Atlas Air new-hires with minimum qualifications flies all over the globe. I think our training department can figure out how to get these new-hires up to speed on the one route we fly.
Yeah there’s AF447. We’re upgrading guys with very little experience on the E190 as well. More experience than a new-hire due to FOM requirements, but not by much. If you can’t handle deviating around weather over the Atlantic, you probably can’t handle it as a newly minted 190CA on the Robuc 3 arrival paired with a FO with low experience as well.

No they can still get tagged on RSV for some of the late night island flying. So probably not too desirable. Not sure how the SQ reserves are being used in JFK.
