Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, however I have a class date in the coming months and was wondering what kind of QOL differences one can see bidding the 190 vs 320 vs 220. I would prefer JFK for my commute and looking to move to south Florida in the future for the 320 base but might be a couple years away. I hear the 190 reserve would only be a couple of months but haven’t heard what one would expect bidding the 320. Does anyone have any insight on what they might recommend a new hire to bid based on overall QOL and pay.
Thanks all!

once you have seniority you can always bid bus FLL but be prepared for red eyes.

if your looking for QOL the e190 cannot be beat right now. Boston 190 is currently growing faster than jfk 190. As a new hire it’s only 1 year seat lock instead of 2. So if you change your mind it’s not a long term commitment.

Speaking of seniority. For new hires who've just come onboard and first year only being a 1 year seat lock. Does that mean come August when its the bid we can bid for a new aircraft? We just won't be able to start training until we hit the year mark a few months after august?
Yes you can bid in the system bid in August, or can even bid in a supplemental bid if we have one in the next couple months. Your bid effective date just needs to be 12 months from your hire date.
