Cancellations are better than driving your jets into an ice storm. Problem is, B6 hubs at the world's largest media market. That was good during the honeymoon period. Its bad when stuff starts happening, as it does for any airline.

And what exactly is the purpose of your post?

First, it's outdated - the latest number is more like 360 or so.
At the same time 'the other airlines' also cancel flights:

AA 120
Delta 250
LCC 150
NWA 35

No word from Continental at Newark, I guess that doesn't matter as long as the stupid media can sling some mud on JetBlue.

Maybe, just maybe one day people and the media will understand that there is a relationship between Weather and Aviation.

Reminds me of the yearly reocurring deicing debacle at AA in DFW.
"We just did not expect snow, we were not prepared."
Happened every year in February.

IT'S CALLED WINTER !!!

It amazes me that 6 months ago JetBleu could do no wrong now they are under the microscope. All it took was one bad day!

I was wondering if the Kool Aid is wearing off yet?

Evidently the Blue Juice supply is running low at all of the major media centers...someone needs to get on that as soon as we find a gate!

So, I guess the Ice Pellet restictions don't apply to FDX?

WHO CARES THAT YOU DID NOT CANCEL FLIGHTS!
How may PAX do you fly?

You probably stuff your wife and kids in a box and ship them when they need to go somewhere?

Latest updade:
JetBlue 400 cancellations
Delta 600
US Air +1000 (where is the outrage?)
"Operations at United Airlines, American Airlines , Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines , and Southwest Airlines also were affected by the storm".

No kidding.
