As a pilot you can of course jumpseat on other carriers free of charge. Dependent travel on other airlines will be ZED fares. We do have a rather extensive list of available ZEDs including many international..

With the exception of a select few agreements, ZED fares are usually Economy Class. From the top of my head, I believe we could do Business Class on United, TAP and a couple more.

Our selection for booking business is pretty bad, not sure how other carriers are. Considering we get ripped off by our own company if we want to fly Mint, having more carriers available would be nice.

Not sure what you are saying there, but I try to avoid flying transcon on our own metal when I can get upgraded for free on almost anybody else. Not to mention Mint is usually always full because of last minute gate upgrades.
