I haven't heard anything about a union there. I thought Managment was totally opposed to having a union. Any indea who will be representing the group?? I hope it's not the TEAMSTERS, cause they stink!!

On the 757 training is in Miami at Alteon. 7 weeks long.

Health care depends on family or not...

Home based...hmmm... If you happen to live in Hawaii, do you know if they'd still positive space you from HNL, or are you on your own till you get to LAX, etc. like Kalitta?

the guys that live in Hawaii are usually based in either LAS or PHX and have to jumpseat there when on reserve or starting a trip but the hotel at their base is paid by the company - Omni does have flights from HNL-LAS everyday so they usually have no trouble getting to the mainland or home when done with their trip

Omni had an incident at ATL last month. A mad dog lost horizontal stabilizer control and made a successful return to the apt.

read the report it was a DC10-30 not an MD - the crew did a great job following their training and procedures for a jammed stab approach - also the jet came from SNN and did not" return to airport "
