Default Pinnacle Hiring

Posted on UND Website Today

Job Title: Pilot/Flight Crew Member
Requirements: 1000TT
200 ME
100 Instrument -- 20 hrs of this can be simulator time HS Diploma; 1st class medical, ATP certificate and type rating in company aircraft or commercial pilot certificate w/multi-engine and instrument ratings.

ATP certificate and type in company aircraft? Are they kidding? Aren't they hiring FO's? Geez

Before anyone says it... I did read the "or" after it.

Seriously though, are these really minimums or will they actually hire with much less time? I have lived in Detroit all my life and I would love to be based at DTW someday. If anyone has any information on what they actually hire at that would be great.

Thanks UNDGUY

As a UND graduate, I looked on the UND Job page about 2 weeks ago when They stated 500TT with a ME rating. ATP written done(prefered) 1st class medical. They love the CRJ course and that Is why UND has such low minimums. I have three friends flying up to UND to interview next week. I have more than the minimums and you won't see me near Pinnacle anytime soon.
These minimums are walking off the street.

Some time back you had some questions about the operation of condition levers. I am a GA pilot who may have an opportunity to fly the king air. Do you have any information that you can send to me?

The answer to the condition lever question is posted in the knowledge helper section on the forum here. If you have questions other than that I would post them in the same section as the other question. There are a couple really nice guys on here that fly them and are very helpful.

Good Luck on the King Air job.

1000/200 are the "street" minimums; I know that guys are getting on there with much *MUCH* less, but all through agreements w/different schools I think. Not sure what UND's mins are, but I'm sure your Chief or Dept. Chair would know.

Chief UND pilots have nothing to do with pinnacle. PNCL is the next crash and burn by the way, stay away

Why is Pinnacle the next crash and burn in your opinion? What do you think of this new regional that Northwest is going to have? Is the new company going to take Pinnacle and Mesaba's flying for Northwest? Sorry, but I can't think of the name of the new one. Oh and can we expect this new Northwest regional to have similiar hiring minimums to Pinnacle and Mesaba? Just curious.

I heard that the Indy Air certificate the NWA bought to use for pinnacle expired a little while ago.
