Bottom line is the majority of the American flying public will only buy the cheapest fares. The majority of business travelers buy tickets on the best networks with top notch FF programs with more seats in F (versus 8).

Go on ignoring when people post facts, and live in your angry, bitter little world.

Ref: Airline pilot Central pay grid, 5 year VX CA.
If that's wrong, you should correct it. Currently, there are ZERO pilots earning top of the scale pay and the first one won't achieve that for at least another 6 years.
That's a fact. As the saying goes..."Everyone is entitled to their opinion. They are not entitled to their own facts."

And before the recent United TA, their A320 FOs were topped out at 94/HR and CAs at 137/HR. When VX came about, or within it's first year if operation, everyone was operating concessionary contracts. Only recently did Delta and United/Continental start making improvements back to what it used to be.
VX isn't perfect, it could use an improvement in the compensation package, and with time it will. But it's a far cry to say it's RJ wages when you haven't looked at the rest of the A320 airlines and their histories since 2006.
And btw, just because VX started flying in 2007 doesn't mean our pilots have only been around since 2007. There are pre-launch guys who have been around a lot longer and get their respective longevity pay on the ladder.
