I would really hope I don't dick up the questionnaire. Pretty straight forward, plus I cant talk bad about my current company. Got me to the point I get the magical email from Virgin right? And yes I did have a few internal recs. Which I am incredibly grateful for!

Did anyone of you that got hired at VX actually feel you did good on the assessment? I am very confident in myself, but the brain strain questions did a good number on me and left me feeling pretty unsure...

I practiced online with employment assessments beforehand, and by the time I took the VX assessment, I felt extremely confident about it.

Because your airline isn't guilty of doing this same thing at some point? It's a competitive market. For example, do I think there should be more than one airline that flies nonstop from SFO/LAX to EWR? Yes. But do I think it should be legal that as soon as someone announces 3 roundtrips a day that the remaining legacy increases their flights from 8 daily roundtrips to 16? No. But no matter, time will tell how this route plays out. EWR is slot controlled, so UniCal couldn't have increased SFO/EWR without pulling back some other routes for takeoff/landing slots.

Thanks for the help
Well thanks everyone for the information. Got the questionnaire back in and I'll let the group know if it goes forward from there.
It would be a "change" for me in a career that has had a few. My job in corporate world ended in Dec as the people took their planes to Africa and use Net Jets for domestic flying...so I am looking. Several federal government jobs "in the process" and a few corporate leads here...while this would be at first a pay cut it would be an interesting way to spend the next 18 years (the time i have left as long as the age limit stays)...Several advantages here not the least is the joy of 121 flying and get to stay where i am...
Anyone have any interview "thoughts" or rumors or anything? Thanks again

So you want to regulate the airline industry? Why can't an airline increase their service in a market that appears to need more service? If an upstart airline adds 3 flights in a market then maybe the "legacy" finally realized they needed more service in that city pair. If the upstarts product is "so much better" then they should have no problem competing. Right?
