There are quite a few applications on file, and it takes some time to go through them.
I received my email for the long app in January, then received the email for the assessment near the end of May. I started to get impatient and thought Spirit didn't want me, but it's just that portion of the hiring process takes time.
You can only enhance your chances by showing up in Dallas in November, but please be patient, don't give up on the process.
Once the assessment email and interview invitation come, things move really fast.
Good luck guys!

You should show up, even if you don't meet the minimums on total time. By you going to the next job fair shows that u are interested, and they will see that if u keep going to job fairs, basically shake the tree until they notice you. With that A320 time they may even look the other way on your total time....you never know

I was hired with less than 4000TT, from what I gather, there is a requirement of 4000 hours (and some other situations) in order to upgrade to Captain. By the hiring process in place, they are virtually assuring everyone will be ready to upgrade when their time comes.
Bogota experience won't matter, it's cool, but oh wont be able to regularly hold lines that go to Bogota for a bit, plus, the Bogota run is a "qual" line for Captains. BUT, having that experience might sway in your favor as well.
The advise of showing up to the job fairs and the interest it show is also good advise!
Good luck!

The Bogota will likely be considered, not for the airport specifically but the operations in theater. The job description specifically asks about south of the boarder experience. Shows you can operate dealing with language barriers, fir boundaries, ect... The flying is all over the place in the bases: last month did SJU, PAP, CUN and LIM out of DTW. Share that stuff at job fair!
