East coast would be a difficult commute, but DFW would be great. Any ideas out there as to how long before someone at USAir will be able to bid to AA bases?

The POR (Plan of Reorganization, AA's formal exit from bankruptcy and the joining of the two carriers in holy matrimony) is scheduled for 3rd quarter this year (I've heard September). From there, they're saying 18-24 months for a Single Operating Certificate, plus the SLI has to happen, too. I'd venture to say we're several years away from being able to cross-bid. That's not counting any fences that might be up. Also, DFW, is a rather senior base. Trust me, I'd love to be back there quickly myself!

Reading from the other forum lots of rejections went out on the 17th. I have two under review from 2/17 and 5/03. Had the accept tab on the 2/17 app. But, no call yet.

I had a "thanks but no thanks for your application submitted before 1 May" sent out on the 17th, so for me, that was a Jan and Feb apply. I re-submitted ON 1 May as per their email sent out sometime late April. My status, though, on all three applications still says "Under Review". Does anyone else's say anything different? Am I reading correct that my 1 May submission is still valid?

Thanks!

I have no idea what anything that comes for Airways means anymore, I just keep applying to every window and hope that works...although so far I have not had much success, so maybe I am doing it wrong.....

Portfo I feel the same way. I got the thanks but no thanks, but please reapply now since our window is open.? "We find your application and qualifications most impressive" please reapply. I guess I need the "we find your application Overwhelming" email to come next.

Default Update resume

Anyone else having trouble viewing or updating there resume?

Seems to be an issue all the time?

" Your session has timed out, you will have to start your application again"

I get this when I try to view or update my resume.

Their application process is F'ing garbage. Someone needed to say what everyone else is thinking but is too polite to venture forth.
