So does the fact that there is no more pilot position listed under the Flight Operation page on the US Airways employment site mean that they are done taking apps or are have they acquired enough to fill the seats they have open.
Curious if anyone knows or has some insight?

My take is that becuase of the merger things will be on hold. I believe the AMR side still has 100's on furlough. It doesn't look good to be hiring on one side with guys out of work on the other.
Usually when two companies merge there is an overlap of workers and cuts usually follow.

I applied with Airways a while back when I still only had my ATP written. I've since gotten the actual ATP certificate, but unlike Airline Apps I don't see any way to update this other than sending in a new résumé (which I did). But all the computer-based questions are in changeable it seems. Any advice?

Anyone know what happens after your application goes under review?
Any time frames until you could expect a call for an interview or get a thanks but no thanks email?

I have one application dated 19 Oct 12, and it's just been sitting there under review.
Airways does their application process a little different. They use a third-party recruitment company that manages the application software. As I understand it, based on a set of inputs your application goes into a number of different "buckets", one bucket if you're military, one bucket if you're female or minority, one bucket if you have a four year degree, one bucket if you have over 3000 hours, one bucket if you have an internal recommendation/family member at Airways. As it was explained to me, the computer then chooses an application that then gets reviewed by HR and recruiters at Airways. The more "buckets" your application is in, the more likely your application will be picked. Resumes don't factor into the equation until your application has been forwarded on.
This is all what a recruiter told me, so take it for what it's worth.
Apparently, the lack of ability to update one's application is a software glitch/problem that the third-party vendor is supposed to have fixed by the end of the month.
Good luck and congrats if your application gets pulled.

For those of you with multiple resumes "under review", how many of the apps have the option withdrawal from consideration? I have 3 apps. All "under review" but my August one, which also has the link "invitation to reapply", doesn't have the option to withdrawal from consideration.
