SWA Rejection Email
I just got an email similar to the one that I got in the 3rd week of May. Only difference is a few things in the wording and that could be due to the fact that it came from a different person in the People Dept this time.
"Thank you for your interest in the First Officer position at Southwest Airlines and for the effort you put forth in our application process. Southwest is fortunate to receive interest from many qualified Candidates for the limited number of Pilot positions that we have available.
After careful consideration, you were not selected at this time to move forward in our hiring process. You are welcome to apply in the future for the First Officer position, through www.southwest.com/careers during our next hiring event.
We wish you success in your future endeavors and thank you again for your interest in Southwest Airlines."

Sorry to hear about the thumbs-down, Dakota. Our IT dept isn't all it could be, and this might be a manifestation of one of their latest glitches.
As someone else mentioned, keep your file updated and try not to be discouraged. Many get the nod on their 2nd or 3rd try. With the overall hiring picture the way it is currently, the competition has never been tougher and your odds of getting an offer are probably the worst they have ever been.
Best of luck to you!
