Even though GLA is dump, there's plenty of people out there who meet or exceed their hiring mins. If you want to get into this industry at this time, you have to do the leg work. Call them, email them, BUG them. My .02

I was jr. manned the first day of the month and I'm around halfway up the FO list. I know of a bunch senior to me who have been jr manned this month too. I've been extended multiple times and have been working my arse off. Down to 10 days off this month. Lakes definitely has a poor staffing model, like most regionals, but this is a bit lean even by their standards. Tons of flights being canceled for "unavailability of flight crew."

I got a call 2 weeks ago for an interview. It was last minute and couldn't get on a GLA flight to make the interview at 10am the following morning. Next round of interviews are in the beginning of December.
