I put my app in about a week or two ago and also haven't heard a thing yet. So I'm guna go out on a limb and think it takes awhile for them to sift through it all.

Called me last week to come out for an interview..only took a week for them to call.
Laughed at them when they said I had to find my own way out to DEN for the interview..sorry, but I'm not going to pay to fly to an interview to make $16/hr and to live in BFE New Mexico or N Dakota.

I went to the interview for GLA a couple weeks ago. I got called the next day offereing me a class date of Feb 7th (2 days ago). I declined it as it wasnt enough to give my current job 2 weeks notice (and plus i had an interview lined up with CommutAir). They said they would put me in the pool and call me for the next training date which they didnt have scheduled yet but was tentatively looking to be sometime in March. I havent heard back from them since. I had to pay for my way out to the interview also from the NY area. Interview was pretty straight forward. People were very nice in my opinion. I had my interview yesterday with CommutAir and was offered the job and a training date right on the spot so I accepted that. Looks like Ill be flying for CommutAir =D

Certainly you knew this when you applied. If you didn't, that is your fault for not doing your research. We're all professionals in this industry... and laughing at a recruiter is certainly the opposite of that. Besides, you should keep in mind the fact that you never know who is going to be doing your recruiting 5 years from now...
