I wish I had a friend who was an actual Eagle pilot from whom to get info. Rumors here are probably just some AA ramper spouting manufactured hypotheses.

I interviewed this week. 5 of 6 showed up and all 5 of us got our letters. Overall it was a great experience. One of the other guys said he was told that the first class of new hires is scheduled for next week, but is only consisting of 2 people...? Seems sorta wierd. Heard a lot about potential growth continuing throughout the year, though (possibly hiring 500). Good luck to everyone else who has interviews!

Sounds about right due to the recent decision to force out their 500 most experienced pilots.

Congrats on the letter.

What are the chances of forcing out 500 inexperienced pilots instead? Number one priority for eagle is safety, right?

Very unlikely since they come oh so much cheaper than those old gray-headed ones.

Awesome! Congratulations! I interviewed back in Jan. Did they say anything about bases? Possible class dates for you guys?

Fellas,
I apologize if this has been addressed in a previous thread. I have applied through airlineapps.com and have not heard a peep. What seems to be the average turn time from applying to contact from HR? I often wonder if airlineapps is working properly. Hmmm...

You do know you are not the only one applying? Not everyone is going to get a call. Do you have an internal recommendation?
