I was hired by eagle last time they were hired and I was put into a pool. At that time I had like 500 hours with about 180 multi. Now, I have 1400 total and 215 multi and I didn't get a call. I think you need a lot of references or 135/121 experience. Im just amazed how a company (all regionals actually) hires with 500 hours at one time and then thinks that the pilots are not experienced enough to get an interview. Meanwhile bunch of those 500hr pilots are flying for them now. Does anyone see any problem with this? geez. sorry for the rant.

Supply and demand.

A couple years ago, the company couldn't get enough folks with higher times to fly for our pay. Therefore, TT dropped. Now, there are more folks on the street who have higher TTs that are looking for a job. Also, the fallout from Colgan hasn't helped much.

Sorry you haven't gotten a call.

hang in there, it will just take some time. I believe that there will be a much larger call up soon and we will see lower timed pilots get on board.
Here is an example of low time: CO ANG F16 newbie, 100 hours in F-16, 200 hours total time. Wow. Tell me that pilots are not in short supply?

when you guys talk about PIC, do you mean maybe turbine PIC or just general? Because I have over 1000 PIC and for some reason I dont think that it counts unless its Turbine or Jet PIC

Counts towards what. PIC is PIC unless your applying for a job that requires turbine PIC.

Wut??? I didn't say anything about pilots being in short demand besides regionals looking for higher time pilots, but couldn't get anyone because those higher time crews didn't want to work with our regional pay. Therefore, lower time folks got the regional jobs because the larger companies hire only hire time crews.

There will be a turn around. Just not yet.

has anyone tried to call/e-mail anyone from eagle to see what is going on? I know by now there has got to be at least 30+ guys waiting for a call to start class.
and guys interviewing this week, let us know what their saying about the review board this week.
my own thoughts is that the training dep. just wasn’t ready yet.... but I have no idea, just a guess

They're having a hard time just to adjust the training dates for the previous bid, including upgrades and recalls. Who knows when will be a slot for a new hire class.

This place is a cluster right now with regards to the flow plan. Just be patient and hang on tight!
